Dr Dilip Pawar

A warm welcome from Dr. Dilip Pawar. He has been practising Paediatrics since 2003.He follows a systematic approach to child illnesses and treatment. He believes in the principle that Prevention is Better than Cure. At Penguin Clinic for Child Health special emphasis is given to parent’s health awareness and education and also to continuous medical education of staff and himself.

 

EDUCATION & TRAINING

He did his MBBS from the prestigious college - Maulana Azad Medical College Delhi and Post-Graduation in Paediatrics DCH (Newborn & Child Health) from Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi. After doing his Senior Residency from Sardar Vallabh Patel Hospital, Govt. of Delhi, he did research work, inPaediatric Respiratory Diseases at LNJP hospital as a Co- Investigator under the   guidance of eminent Head and Professor Dr G.R Sethi. He then joined the Newborn and Paediatrics department of Sheetla Hospital & Eye Institute in Gurgaon as a consultant, and was involved extensively in NICU, PICU and Emergency Care. As part of his continuous medical education he did a Post Graduate Course inAdolescent Medicine from Indian Medical Association. He is also involved in online and classroom Teaching and Training of doctors, staff, parents and school children.
Dr. Dilip Pawar has special interest in Newborn & Infant Care, Paediatrics Respiratory Problems andPreventive Paediatrics (Growth & Development).

He is a Life member of Indian Medical Association, Indian Academy of Paediatrics, Indian Journal of Pediatrics, IAP Infectious Diseases, IAP Growth & Development and Delhi Medical Association.
